As part of our topic, Walk Like an Egyptian, we had an Egyptian day where we all dressed up as ancient Egyptians! We had a great day learning about Egyptian jewellery and making our own circlets and armlets. In the afternoon, we were lucky enough to have Aesop's Theatre Company come in to school and deliver us their 'Into the Tomb' workshop. It was very informative and interactive!

As part of our topic, 'Extreme Earth' we were learning all about different aspects of physical geography including: volcanoes, earthquakes, mountains, rivers and the water cycle. We designed and made our own volcanoes out of clay. We also studied the artist and sculptor Andy Goldsworthy during our 'Extreme Earth' topic and took our learning outside to create pieces of art using the natural resources around us.

As part of our learning about forces and magnets. We learnt all about friction and air resistance. We tested toy cars on different surfaces to see which surface produced the most friction. We also designed and made our own rockets with a streamlined shape to try and produce less air resistance so our rockets would travel through the air more easily.
